Highbrow celebrity hang out 'Klub saphire' opens in Alakija satellite town Lagos, on Saturday the 20th of April industries finest players like Sound sultan, Wizkid, Baba Dee, Dj Zeez, Wacomzy, Mc Opj of Wazobia FM amongst others partied with other guest at the official opening.
Hip-hop artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (a.k.a.Wizkid), Sound Sultan and Melody, among other artistes, recently thrilled the audience with music, dance and comedy during the opening of Crystal Sapphire, located at 338, Old Ojo Road, Alakija, opposite Navy Town, Lagos.
Wiz Kid and Sound Sultan entertained the audience with popular tracks from their albums while the comedians kept the audience reeling in laughter with their rib-cracking jabs. Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Sapphire, Frank Peters, said the club is a restaurant, bar and lounge, equipped with modern technology and facilities, which recently opened its doors for business and pleasure.
“Crystal Sapphire’s vision is to become the leading brand in hospitality business and create a suitable and cozy environment where business and groove meet in grand style” he said. He said the restaurant dealt in both African and continental cuisines. It is opened from 8am till 11pm Other sections in the club include; club sapphire, Sapphire restaurant, Sapphire sports bar, car wash, and an event centre.
“You can also club with us everyday of the week. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we have musical performances while on Wednesdays, we have Diva or ladies’ night. Thursdays is time for a live band and Friday and Saturday are set aside for clubbing. Sunday is for comedy and show night respectively” he said.
Crystal Sapphire is equipped with the state-of-the-art sound system alongside an experienced in-house Disc Jockey (DJ). Peters said that their numerous facilities are available for individuals and corporate organizations for their meetings, parties, TGIFs and a host of other functions.
