Social Media Week Lagos Countdown: 1 More Week!

We can't quite believe that Social Media Week is just a week away! In just 7 days, the world will turn its focus its attention on Lagos, as Social Media Week makes its debut on the African continent.

Lagos will be home to a buzzing hive of activity that will mark this year's convergence, as we join the global discussion of cultural, social and economic effects of social media on the world.

With 98 exciting events lined up for the 18th - 22nd of February, this is an experience that you simply cannot miss out on. Enterprise Creative CEO Nkiru Asika will be making a presentation at the Billboard Music Day event (BIT Hub, Porsche Center; Feb 20) which will also have 7-time Grammy award-winning record producer Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs, Billboard Africa CEO Colin Gayle, and Deputy Editor Billboard, Yinka Adegoke in attendance, among a host of other international music industry heavyweights. 

We're also excited to announce that CNN's Inside Africa team will be present in Lagos to report on the happenings and events at SMW Lagos.
