The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has claimed that President Goodluck Jonathan and some of his allies steal over 400,000 barrels of crude oil from Nigeria daily.

Tinubu, made this allegation at the flag-off of Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s campaign in Ibadan on Saturday.

The former Lagos State governor argued that Jonathan was allegedly responsible for oil theft and that he should be removed by all Nigerians during presidential election.

Tinubu described the Peoples Democratic Party as “Poverty Development Party,” while calling on market women, teachers and civil servants in Oyo State not to allow the party to return them to the dark days.

A WOMAN has been charged with murder after a baby was set on fire in the middle of the street and died of its injuries, authorities say.

Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier, 22, was arrested on Saturday and charged with murder, her bail is set at $500,00 (£330,000).

Police were called to the grim scene in Perberton Township, near Philadelphia in the US, late Friday night when they found the infant on fire and quickly doused the flames.

The newborn was immediately takes to a burn unit but died Saturday morning.

Neighbour Dave Jospeh, 45, told the Burlington County Times, that he witnessed the incident.

A woman died hours after giving birth to quadruplets at a Phoenix hospital, a close friend of the family said Saturday.

CBS News reports: Erica Morales, 36, never got to hold her newborns before she passed away early Friday morning after a C-section surgery at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, Nicole Todman said.

“They were transporting her from the surgery to whatever room, and she was still unconscious at that point. So, no, she never got to see them,” Todman said.

Morales was about seven months into her pregnancy when she delivered three girls and one boy Thursday, according to Todman. She has been one of the few able to visit the premature newborns and said they are doing well.

Kaleb Whitby was sandwiched between two trucks in the smash on I-84 in Baker City, Oregon, US, that injured a dozen people but claimed no lives.

Kaduna Governor, Yero, Caught on Tape Threatening Violence against APC, El-Rufai

The Governor of Kaduna state, Ramalan Yero, has threatened to call out his supporters to inflict damage on the opposition All Progressives Congress [APC] if his team is ever attacked while campaigning.

Speaking in Hausa language to his supporters at the opening of his campaign on Monday, PremiumTimes reports that Mr. Yero vowed swift “revenge” if ever attacked by any one “born of woman”.

“If you are born of a woman, please pelt us with stones, when we go out for campaigns. We dare you to destroy or burn our vehicles. Burn our House,” the governor said. “I swear by Allah, anyone who does any of these things, we will revenge.”

The remarks came as an escalation of an already tense electioneering ahead of February polls, seen in Kaduna State as a contest mainly between the governor and a former Minister, Nasir El Rufai, of the APC.

There was another bomb blast today, January 18 from a suicide bomber who drove in a Golf car. He rammed the car, hitting a Petrol Station in Potiskum, Yobe State. Killing four, including himself and injured 48 people.

Man ‘Robs Co-Worker At Gunpoint’, Still Goes To Work The Next Day

A supermarket employee has been arrested after he robbed a co-worked at gunpoint and still turned up to work the next day, prosecutors said.

Larry Murdock, 20, who stocks shelves at Jewel-Osco, is alleged to have taken $600 (£396) as well as a wallet, gold chain, watch and iPhone from a 19-year-old co-worker he asked to ‘hang out’ with on Monday night.

But Murdock ended up being nabbed by police after turning up to work the next day – where the alleged victim pointed him out to police.

Ayomindy Bile, 15, and Jesse Quaye, 18, stabbed unarmed Connor Barrett, 20, to death at a family home in Hemsby in Norfolk last May.

A court heard how Bile then bragged of how he had "hooked" Mr Barrett as the victim's younger brother watched him die.

The pair had arrived at the party along with a number of other uninvited guests – who started to cause trouble.

Bile and Quaye confronted Mr Barrett as he questioned why one of his friends had been punched.

Norwich Crown court heard how Bile, who can now be named after his anonymity was lifted, pulled out a flick knife.
