COMPETITION CHASED ME OUT OF LAGOS—HILDA DOKUBO REVEALS
Veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo, in a recent interview, revealed that the fierce competition in the entertainment industry, especially in Lagos, forced her to relocate to Rivers State, where she hails from.
According to the iconic actor, who used to be very popular many years ago in the movie industry before delving into politics, “You go to where they need you most. In Lagos, there are a lot of us who can do a lot. Plus you know that there’s this general saying that the West received education before the South, which may or may not be true.
“But charity begins at home and whatever you plant at home, be prepared to reap. That’s not to say Lagos is completely off my radar. No! Because some of the kids that I train return to Lagos and some of them actually come in from Lagos to get trained and return.

Photos: Incredible Survival Of Baby Born At Just 25 Weeks Old
A baby who was born at just 25 weeks has gone against many doctors’ predictions and lived to see his first birthday.
Jett Morris’s parents Mhairy and Paul say they were told to abort their baby when his mother’s waters broke at just 20 weeks.
Jet survived for another five weeks in the womb before he was born, weighing just 1lb 6ozs.
Mr and Mrs Morris said that doctors put pressure on them to end the pregnancy and gave them just five minutes to come to terms with a termination and even wheeled in a trolley to take Mhairi to theatre.
But she refused to go and then found herself facing repeated calls from nurses over the next few days to have an abortion.
She remained convinced her unborn baby was healthy and five weeks later he was born.
Azuka Ogujiuba Calls Toke Makinwa Out, Says She’s A Wanna-Be
Thisday Newspaper columnist Azuka Ogujiuba has penned down what she thinks went down at last month’s Headies. Azuka titled the report, ‘The Good, Bad and Ugly of 2014 Headies Awards’ where she wrote on Toke Makinwa and few other celebrities and what she thinks they did right and wrong.
Remember Toke hosted the show alongside Basket Mouth? Oh well, what she wrote will shock you. Oya read;
She obviously loves the limelight; she enjoys being called and seen as a celebrity, and she loves the good life of being a star, which sincerely is not a crime and it is equally her business anyway. For me as a journalist, if l am to pick any of the known on-air personalities to interview then Toke Makinwa will never make number 50 on my list because l don’t know what she wants to tell the world about her career and personal life again.
Her life is practically on the social network but it is truly her choice. There is no doubt that she works hard and can be aggressive. She probably wants to be the most popular radio personality and, of course, probably has to add the ‘fake it till you make it’ attitude into everything she does. Her strategy is working for her. I actually used to think Toke was so loved and revered by her fans until she co-hosted the 2014 HEADIES awards.

Her father, Sky Roberts, added she’d also met the Queen while on a visit to London.
Both claims were rejected by Buckingham Palace.
