Mother Drives Her Car Up A Utility Post While Feeding Her Child Cookies

An Ohio mother had the shock of her life on Thursday when she accidentally drove her car up a guide wire.

Amber Johnson told WSPA that she turned around for a second to hand her one-year-old son some cookies when her car hit a wire in Youngstown.
The car drove up the wire and rested vertically against it. Luckily no one was injured and Johnson and her frightened little boy managed to escape.

'My first thought was him, so I jumped straight out,' she said.
'I just opened the door, jumped straight out, ran to the back, made sure he was OK. He was a bit shaken up, but he was OK overall.'

Johnson was able to get out of the vehicle and call for help and neither she nor her son were injured.

'She was more interested in giving her child the food than paying attention to her driving,' Youngstown Lt. William Ross told ABC.

'There was really no damage to the car,' Ross said.
'Just a little bit of scraping but it’s basically undamaged.'
The woman was not charged with any crime.
