Sudanese Mother Sentenced to Hang for 'Marrying a Christian' is RE-ARRESTED with Her American Husband

The woman who was put on death row in Sudan for marrying a Christian then freed after nine months in jail has been rearrested on Tuesday.

Meriam Ibrahim and her husband Daniel Wani were both held at an airport in the capital Khartoum as they apparently tried to flee the country.

Meriam, 27, a doctor, had only been released from prison yesterday - and going back to jail will cause her unimaginable agony.

Daniel’s arrest also creates a headache for the US government as he is an American citizen who lives in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The couple were detained by around 40 security agents with their two children, Maya, one month, and Martin, 21 months.

Meriam's lawyer, Shareif Ali Shareif, told MailOnline: 'Meriam Ibrahim and Daniel Wani were arrested at the airport two hours ago [about 1230GMT).
'They are now in the detention of the National Security forces. The family were trying to leave Sudan for a safe place.

Video: Edo Lawmakers Engage In Free For All Fight

The crisis in the Edo State House of Assembly yesterday (Monday 23rd June) took a new dimension as the lawmakers resorted to physical combat in a bid to enforce the suspension of their colleagues.

Trouble began when the court bailiff served contempt proceedings on the four lawmakers while they sat with their other colleagues outside the Edo State House of Assembly.

Calling each other unprintable names when both factions arrived the House for sitting on Monday morning, they insisted they were going in despite the suspension and injunction from the courts.

Beyoncé And Jay Z Seek Couples Therapy, To Avoid Divorce!!!

Things are looking pretty bleak for the coupled up Carters and the latest rumor has it that the pair are in therapy three times a week trying to get right. 

According to OK! Magazine reports: Super couple Jay Z, 44, and Beyoncé, 32, just can’t put Solange’s elevator fight behind them, and—on the advice of pal Gwyneth Paltrow—they’ve turned to three-times-a-week counseling to rescue their marriage.

We still don’t know exactly what caused Solange to attack her brother-in-law in that elevator after the Met Ball back in May. But many people believe that the brawl was caused by Solange accusing Jay of being a womanizer, so he’s vowed to change his ways. In front of Bey, he called rumored mistress Rachel Roy to end their relationship: “No more cozy dinners, no more late-night phone calls,” says the source. “He’s even deleted her number from his phone.”

The Lagos state Police Command yesterday June 22nd at the Force Headquarters in Ikeja Lagos paraded a 64-year-old native doctor Alhaji Azeez Olatunji for killing retired customs officer, Mrs Angela Uzo Kerry and her 10 year old daughter, Obiajurum (both pictured above) by burying them alive on May 17th at his home in Ire Akari Crescent, Ajuwon Akute, Ogun State.

Alhaji Azeez, an indigine of Oyo state with three wives and five children, had served as a trado-medical doctor to late Mrs Kerry who was looking for a child as the young girl killed with her was an adopted child. Continue...
