Rihanna is the cover girl for
Rolling Stone Magazine’s latest issue and if you thought she had already
revealed as much as she ever would about her and Chris’ relationship, then
think again.
Rihanna is opening up about getting back
together with abusive ex-BF Chris Brown and the impact on her public image.
Whatever happens, she seems okay with it.
"I decided it was more important
for me to be happy," she tells Rolling Stone in a new interview.
"I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way."
"If it's a mistake, it's my mistake.
After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just
live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."
It was nearly four years ago that Brown
attacked her before the 2009 Grammy Awards, pleaded guilty to felony assault
and was sentenced to probation.
Rumors of them getting back together
have come and gone ever since, but exploded last fall when he dumped Karrueche Tran
because of his "friendship" with Rihanna.
Rihanna concedes that this is a
complicated situation that others may not approve of:
"When you add up the pieces from
the outside, it's not the cutest puzzle in the world."
"You see us walking, driving
somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it's
different. We don't have those types of arguments anymore."
Adds the 24-year-old superstar or her
relationship, "We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly
what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."
Not that what happened between Rihanna and
Chris Brown is lost on her, of course. If he were ever to display a
hint of his past behavior, she says she's DONE.
"He doesn't have the luxury of
fucking up again," she says. "That's just not an option."
"I can't say for certain that
nothing else will ever go wrong between us. But I'm pretty solid in the knowing
that he's disgusted by [what happened]."
"I wouldn't have gone this far if I
ever thought that was a possibility."
Have you lost respect for Rihanna for
taking Chris back Back?
have your say....
