Tiwa Savage To Release Second Album On Delivery Day

Heavily pregnant Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage, who had her baby shower on Sunday, May 17, 2015 is expected to put to bed in the coming weeks. But NET has gathered the expectant mother is planning a ‘double delivery.’ 

Considering that expectant mums are always advised to have their baby showers one month to delivery, it’s safe to conclude that Tiwa’s bundle of joy will arrive in this month of June. 

However, NET has exclusively learnt that other than having her bundle of joy, expected to be a ‘Boy‘, Tiwa Savage has concluded plans to drop her second album on the day she puts to bed. This, sources say is to ensure she maintains her dominance and keeps buzzing while she’ll continue her maternity leave. 

There’s no specific or scientific reason for having baby showers a month before delivery, but going by recent happenings, Nigerian celebs are adhering strictly to the one-month mark. 

For instance, Dr Sid’s wife, Simi Osomo had her baby shower in London on March 30, 2015 and 6 weeks later, on May 14, 2015, she gave birth to her baby girl. Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo had her hers on Saturday, April 25, 2015 and 5 weeks later on Thursday, May 28, 2015, she delivered a baby boy. 

In the coming weeks, two more babies are expected and one of them will come with a package. The next baby might be from singer Omawumi who held her baby shower in Nigeria on Sunday, April 12, 2015 before jetting out to the United States where she’s expected to deliver her bundle of joy. 

Tiwa Savage actually had her baby shower aboard Femi Otedola’s Yatch in Lagos. Tiwa Savage dropped her debut album, ‘Once Upon A Time’ on July 3, 2013. 

That same year, on November 23, 2013, she had traditional marriage at the Ark in Lekki; and on April 26, 2014, had her white wedding with Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun at the Armani Hotel, Dubai....
