Man Charged With Murder After Parts Of Woman's Body Found in His Suitcase

A 57-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after part of a woman's body was found in a suitcase.


The decapitated torso of Ramute Butkiene, 42, was found inside a suitcase in a Peterborough flat on Friday.
Neighbours reported a "putrid" smell coming from the property.
Other body parts have been found across the city and police are continuing to search.
Vytautas Jokubauskas, a Lithuanian national, will appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Cambridgeshire Police said: "Vytautas Jokubauskas, 57, of Mayor's Walk, Peterborough, has been charged with murdering 42-year-old Ramute Butkiene.
"Ramute's torso was discovered at a property in Mayor's Walk on Friday afternoon."
Mum-of-one Ms Butkiene was also from Lithuania.
The 42-year-old did agency work in and around Peterborough.
Her 16-year-old daughter is being cared for in Lithuania.
A post-mortem failed to establish how she died.

Police added: "Family members in Peterborough and Lithuania have been informed and are being kept up to date by detectives on the investigation."
