A HORRIFIED mum woke up to find a naked male burglar in bed with her 10-year-old son.
Ernest Reed Johnson, 25, was arrested on Sunday morning – four hours after the distressed mum called the cops.
When they arrived the boy's mum told officers that she had found the burglar in bed with her son and that as she walked in he jumped out of the window.
The K9 police unit in Tampa, Florida, were able to track Johnson down and arrest him a few hours later.
He does not appear to be registered in the state sex offender database.
Johnson has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation, burglary of an occupied dwelling and possession of burglary tools.
Home invasion burglary is a felony of the second degree in Florida and punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 (£6,741).
Lascivious molestation on a child under 12 years old is classed as a life felony. If convicted Johnson faces a minimum sentence of 25 years, followed by sex offence probation.
A judge could also impose a life sentence.
